We’d been told stories of forty minute-queues to see bands, poor facilities and an even poorer location, but on first inspection of the Britomart Square set-up it seemed to be very well laid out. It all seemed very different from the description we’d been told of the Melbourne event.

Laneway Festival

February 1, 2010

Britomart Square, Auckland

http://slashtheseats.com/node/21104#comments Reviews Auckland Big Day Out BLACK LIPS Chris Knox Cut Off Your Hands Daniel Johnston David Mitchell David Saunders Denise Roughan Dirty Three Florence FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE Grandmaster Flash Hill Gang Hockey Ian McCulloch Jim White Laneway Festival Luke Buda Melbourne Mick Turner NASA New York Phoenix Sam Flynn Scott Sam Spiegel Shane Carter street chant Surf City Surf City The Black The Dirty the first Auckland Laneway Festival the horrors The Phoenix Foundation Warner Emery Warren Ellis Ze Gonzales Sun, 07 Feb 2010 08:07:14 +0000 Einstein Music Journal 21104 at http://slashtheseats.com
