EVENT RECAP: BING Presents RCRD LBL Rock-A-Way Summer

This past Sunday (July 31), we launched our very first Rock-A-Way Summer beach blowout presented by BING at sunny Rockaway Beach in Queens, NY. The diverse crowd enjoyed fantastic food, weather and waves, as well as sets by Brooklyn new wave funksters Friends, Kingdom performing a bombastic DJ set alongside guest vocalist Shyvonne and showstopping MC $hane, as well as the explosive garage blasts of Jeff The Brotherhood. A warm shoutout to our friends at Rockaway Taco and the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance for making this very special day possible. Be on the look out for another Rock-A-Way Summer jam later this month and in the meantime check out some of our favorite pictures below:

The Zookeepers biffed out our number one record of 2009 - Ballin’ Outrageous. Think of all the amazing records this year - there is a shitload of them - and in our opinion Ballin’ Outrageous is better than all of the rest of them.
