Vile Vile Creatures
Genre: Alternative / Post punk / Experimental
From: Manchester/Leeds, United Kingdom
Vile Vile Creatures are an all female three-piece from Manchester and Leeds who claim to have satin beats and velvet rhythms, which is true, only the satin is tattered and torn and the velvet is well scuffed and frayed around the edges!

La Roux, Ladyhawke, Little Boots, Chew Lips; just a few of the artists that have been compared to young Manchester band May 68, who is about to embark on a tour with other capable acts We Have Band and Glass Candy.
On Tuesday 16th June 2009, Tubelord played a gig at a venue called The Cellars - a lovely little pub in Eastney, Portsmouth. Ed, Tom and their counterpart/assistant Leam had the pleasure of interviewing Tubelord before their epic gig. The meeting was arranged for 6, however both parties were late due to us getting lost and Tubelord fixing their bank payments, which set everything back a bit. However, several sitting-in-the-road-and-listening-to-soundcheck minutes later, they were welcomed in by the bright Face of Joe, and they felt priviledged as everyone else had to sit in the road still as we headed to Destination: Backstage - the pub’s back garden and a couple of plastic chairs. Ed prepared his magical recording devices AKA Creative Zen MP3 players and the interview was GO.
"I don’t know my left from right."
Take equal parts alt-country, a fusion of folk and punk, and a group of lads from Manchester and you’ve got the unconventionally, but perhaps very appropriately, named band It’s A Buffalo. The new disc, Don’t Be Scared, is fantastic. Each track is anchored by a great Replacements-type lead guitar riff. That was enough for me - I can’t see past the Westerberg.

Latest podcast from Burning World is as tasty as ever, including tracks from Fuck Dress, Town Bike, The Kabeedies and new single from Tiny Masters of Today.
