Little Girls
Genre: Minimalist / Post punk
From: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Toronto-based group Little Girls has only been in existence since January 2009 and this is their second appearance on the Devil’s blog (first appearance back in June, Thank Heaven For Little Girls) which must be some sort of record. The guys are preparing for an extensive North American tour performing with Japandroids, Monotonix, You Say Party! We Say Die!, Wavves and Nurses among others.

Latest podcast from Burning World is as tasty as ever, including tracks from Fuck Dress, Town Bike, The Kabeedies and new single from Tiny Masters of Today.
Gavin: A lot happened in 2008. It seems so long ago now. Like any blog worth it’s salt and peppa though, we have decided to put together our best/worst gigs and albums of the year and used our clever little thinking boxes in our heads to have a guess (/dictate?) who will be floating boats in the next twelve months or so. Have a read and put us in our place about your favourite albums and who you think will storm 09…
Dananananaykroyd/Pulled Apart by Horses/Calf by Calf @ The Harley, Sheffield
With Youthmovies playing at Sheffield University, Death Cab for Cutie at the Academy and Fucked Up and White Denim also playing in Sheffield, there was an abundance of live music on around the city tonight. However, it was a small pub, The Harley, that would boast one of the finest line-ups of the night.
