Mary Epworth is a singer and songwriter who makes music influenced by traditional English song, 60s west coast Psychedelia, and Greek Progressive Rock. In 2008 she released a 7" "The Saddle Song", appeared at the Southbank Centre Sandy Denny Tribute [1] the Saint Georges Day concert[2] at Cecil Sharp House and the Camden Crawl.[3]

The Saddle Song attracted positive reviews in the UK press and was included in a top 100 poll by German Rolling Stone Magazine readers.[4]

Mary ended 2008 by appearing at the ‘The Lady: A Tribute to Sandy Denny’ concert at South Bank, garnering a special mention (including photo) in the Guardian’s 4* review.[5] Backed by Bellowhead in a bill that also included Marc Almond, Jim Moray, Dave Swarbrick and PP Arnold: Following this appearance Mary was featured in R2 (Rock'n'Reel) magazine (March/April 2009) and fRoots magazine (May 2009).[6] In 2009 Mary Epworth and the Jubilee Band took part in the St Georges Day celebration concert at Cecil Sharp House and also the Camden Crawl.

Mary was interviewed by Tom Cox for The Sunday Times on Aug 2nd.[7]
