Oh my! Something very special is growing in an arid climate. Crystal Stilts give hope here at Artrocker.com. Channeling Jesus and Mary Chain, Suicide, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground, The Fall and maybe a little Ramones - it could be one of many by numbers bands, but Crystal Stilts make something tender and genuine and are the perfect antidote to the overload of dull careerist bland bands filling the media. Top label Angular have just released the first single, Departure. Tom Spray catches them in action at Christiana, Copenhagen and interviews the band here.
