DOWNLOAD: Handsome Furs - I'm Confused

If there has been one record making our roomates weary from repeated listens, it would be Handsome Furs’ Face Control. Drowned In Sound touches on its gothic synth-era Springsteenisms in their review today, but to ably show off the sass and songwriting these two lovebirds have put together we need some for real audio. Enter "I’m Confused," one of the album’s "rockers" and also the best Suicide song the Cramps never wrote. Honestly, this is like our second-to-least favorite track on the album, so if we are this jazzed on it imagine all the fantastic, demented anthems enclosed within the other thirty-five or so minutes. Face Control hits stores tomorrow through Sub Pop. If you’re lucky, it will own your life.
Sounds like: Suicide, The Cramps, Bruce Springsteen’s "Dancing In The Dark"
