OMG I LOVETHEKNIFE. Fever Ray is Karin Dreijer Andersson. Karin Dreijer Andersson is one half of The Knife. So by using the transitive property, I love Fever Ray. "If I Had A Heart" is undeniably made by Karin and definitely has a Knife feeling to it. But it’s more aligned with the darker side of Silent Shout. The slow burning "From Off To On" comes to mind as a solid comparison. "Heart" is creepy, embracing the often used vocal shifts that turn Karin into a 40 year old pervy dude. I love it. I’ve literally played this 10 times in a row for the past half hour. I can’t wait for the full length. It’s due out in March on Mute Records.
