Connan Mockasin video

Meow! Meow!

From his upcoming debut album, here is the video for the first single titled ‘Egon Hosford’ (Egon being his beloved cat). Directed by Sammy Handley, who has directed three of Connan’s previous videos (Sky’s Are For Flying, Sneaky Sneaky Dog Friend and There Goes Tane), the video features cardboard animals and freaky looking monsters. It was filmed while Connan was back in New Zealand about five months ago, for a brief visit with family and to play a few shows.

Connan is currently in New Zealand for Christmas and he will be performing two shows, one in his home village of Te Awanaga and the other at Rhythm and Vines. He then heads back to the UK for fifteen shows with young hyper-active up-starts Late Of The Pier before returning to New Zealand in late February. On his return to NZ he will also release his debut album and will tour the four major centres.
