Free music fanzine looking for contributors & demo’s…

Fancy seeing your words in print? Getting to interview your favourite bands? Or even getting into gigs without paying? Why not contribute to our music fanzine?

We’re looking for people to write reviews; gigs, albums, new bands, demo’s etc. If you know your stuff and would like to write about a great new band, saw an unbelievable gig, heard a great album, or just generally want to shout your mouth off about something music-related, then we’d love to hear from you. We’re also looking to do interviews; we’ve grilled Battle, I Was A Cub Scout, Hot Club De Paris, It’s A Buffalo, Ormondroyd & The Maple State recently, amongst others, and will gladly try and get you a few words with anyone you might fancy throwing a few questions at. Most bands are only too happy to get people in free or at least cheap, as long as you’re reviewing, so there is scope for getting to more gigs, too. We’re also after people who write; perhaps short stories or poetry, or illustrators and photographers – basically anything in the slightest bit creative.

You’re free to play as big or as little a part as you like. We’re currently distributing 500+ copies every two months, many of which go to people in bands, as well as radio and magazines. It could be a good place to get yourself spotted, who knows?

We’re also looking for bands to send us their demo’s, which we’ll gladly review. If you want to get your music read about by a few hundred people, then contact us for the address and get your cd’s in the post.

Get in touch. You can email us at timeforheroesmagazine@hotmail.co.uk, or on our Myspace – www.myspace.com/timeforheroesmagazine.

All the best.

TFH.
