The Inconsolables need a new drummer urgently

The Inconsolables are an electro-punk sextet from North London. We recently parted company with our drummer and require an experienced boy or girl with a passion for twisted pop music to fill his shoes.

We\'ve been going for just over a year; we like Devo, Black Lips, The Slits, Los Campesinos!, The B-52s and Dick Dale; we\'ve played the likes of Artrocker, Buttoned Down Disco, Casino Royale, and the Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes; we released our debut EP I Want To Go To Borneo last year on our own label, Jealous Tony, and were selected for the Artrocker/Converse New Blood feature in March 2008.
Our new single Hoverfly, released on 1st September, has already received praise from Neon Buzz, The Mag and Is This Music? and a live feature on the band will appear in the next issue of Bizarre magazine.

We\'re looking for a killer drummer with both experience and flair - someone who can get their teeth into the creative process and have fun to boot. Have a gander round www.myspace.com/inconsolables and email theinconsolables@gmail.com or call Ed on 07921 060 459 if you\'re interested.
