Surfer Blood - Swim (to reach the end)

Florida band Surfer Blood seem to be getting a lot of hype at the moment - but from what I’ve heard, it’s well deserved.

They make classic American pop - a kind of shimmery wall of sound Beach Boys or Big Star, but with added punchiness.

If Glasvegas had grown up in sunnier climes, they may have sounded a bit like this.

The band are touring in the US of A with Artrocker favourites Art Brut - sure to be a bill worth catching.
